THESE GLOVES WEAR OUT IMMEDIATELY! The seams will split the first time you wear them, even just trying them on. Don't buy them if you consider this a failure.
Why do we sell them? Because Kokatat Neo. Kozee Gloves are the best light-weight paddling gloves on the market in terms of comfort and grip on the paddle - in spite of their falling apart. We recommend armoring them with a thin film of Aquaseal along the seams at the tips of the fingers and the crotch of the thumb before using them. Think of these gloves as a "kit" with some user assembly required. Also note that these gloves can still be worn a lot even after they begin to fall apart.
All other lightweight paddling gloves are a bit too slippery for paddling, but the Kozee glove has bare neoprene on the palms giving it the best possible grip (actually the neoprene palms have thin dots painted on them that should help them last a bit longer than bare neo., but these dots do not mess up the grip as grip dots usually do on other gloves). The palms are .5mm neoprene and the rest of the glove is 1mm neo. The inside is all lined with nylon bonded to the neoprene making them easy to slip in and out of, and all but the palms have nylon on the outside for durability.
Like all good paddling gloves, the bare neoprene palms will wear out quickly, but that is the price you pay for a glove that works well for kayaking. As with all good paddling gloves we recommend armoring them with a thin film of Aquaseal in the high wear areas and the seams at the tips of the fingers after the first day or two of use (as soon as you can see some abrasion in the crotch of the thumb etc.). This will about double the life of the gloves.
If you ask to return these because they fell apart we are going to say, "We told you so".
Sizes: XS - XXL (they run a size small so an XXL fits like an XL in other gloves)
